Now as days particularly in India, security and safety of
job is a major concern for the parents and students and as compared to a
private sector job, public sector jobs are considered more secure. Work load is
less and there are many facilities provide by government for the public sector
employees. Government Sector jobs are basically classified in two categories in
India:
1.
Central Government Jobs
2.
State Government Jobs
If we compare the above two categories number of facilities
in a central government job are more than state government jobs.
There are medical allowance, HRA = House Rent Allowance, DA
= Dearly Allowance, LTA = Leave Travel Allowance, CA = Conveyance Allowance etc
that add to benefit of employees. There are pension schemes after the
retirement that promises to be a strong support to the employee and his/her family
after the retirement.
As there are so many benefits and security involved getting
a government job is not an easy task unless you work hard to prepare for the
selection examinations.
As the competition in government sector jobs is increasing
day by day many coaching institutes are being inaugurated for proving quality
guidance to the students. It is observed that coaching institutes for the
preparation of banking and staff service selection examinations are in
considerable numbers in almost every area of the country and that is an
additional benefit for the candidates as the travelling time is reduced and
good teachers are easily available.
Banking sector has shown tremendous growth and candidates applying
for jobs in bank are most in numbers now a days. Websites, blogs and many discussion
forums, groups on social media are there to help the students proving latest
and best study material for the preparation. Government is also focusing on
computer education and all the examinations are mostly conducted online.
Benefits: it saves time; calculation of results is easy with
more accuracy; students can answer by just a click of mouse and the problems to
fill a bubble in OMR sheets are also not there which ensures that students can
answer more questions in the given amount of time.
